Read this fantastic ebook to find out all the tips and tricks to get the most out of your MacBook. 26/1/10- To all Year 8 & Year 10 trying to use Open Office Impress to make Powerpoint slideshows on their Macs and finding that images are only linked and not embedded (ie. They show as links when you send the powerpoint file to someone else. ) Do this:- Once you have put all the pictures on, go to the Edit menu, then Links, then select all the image links (click on the top one, hold down shift and click on the bottom one) Then click Remove Links on the right hand side. Your presentation will now have embedded images and you can send it to other people. Many thanks to Bonnie and Beth for bringing this problem to the fore. Sorted! HAK- Mr Joy |
